"Great place for football lovers. Beautiful building, Spacious and clean. Staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. There is history, memorabilia and pictures of English football history and current achievements. The spa facilities are awesome and the staff too. No regrets and will definitely return. Just one negative was that our room had a shower but not a bath. I love to have a long hot bath when away but they tried to move us but the alternative rooms weren't suitable for us....

"Nice hotel, got some great parts done ok parts. Check in on Saturday was very slow. Not sure why, but it took 25 mine to get checked in as some customers ahead of us, seemed to take forever to get resolved. Not sure why that was, staff, systems, or booking issues... Who knows, but with only 2 people before us, 25 mins is not great. The hotel is nice though,service is good, rooms are good, no real complaints. The lifts are very slow though and we thought they would break at any...

"It was a shame that I didn’t arrive until the early hours of the morning. I didn’t get to sample the facilities that were available as I had to leave in the morning. The staff were lovely and the standard of the hotel is excellent. The price I paid for the room and breakfast was also very reasonable"

"WOW! What a brilliant little place!!! Tucked away on the edge of a pretty little market town, the facilities and attention to detail are flawless! This is the perfect place for a couples getaway! The pub next door serves good food and offers friendly service. We will certainly be making a return visit and would recommend Stables to anyone looking for a relaxing, romantic getaway"
