"This is in the heart of Naples, so bear in mind, it’s a gritty city. Quiet alley like street. Lots of graffiti on the streets nearby. Very short walk to Spacca Napoli, one of the main streets to stroll through the gritty heart of Naples. "Seventh floor room with no elevator. You have to carry your baggage up 130 steps similar to a medieval castle. The room is fine but the trip up is challenging. Only thing we didn't like about this place was the extra charges - we had to pay extra per night for AC (around 2.50 euro per night) and a water bottle (1 euro). This was the only hotel that charged us extra for AC when we travelled throughout northern and southern Italy. The staff was friendly but not always around unfortunately but...

"We arrived in Naples by air, followed the signs to the Alibus and paid our 5euro fares. One stop, 10 minutes later brought us to both the central train station and Starhotels Terminus. We had a deluxe room with a very large, comfortable bed and lots of storage and seating. There is a big bathroom and a sweet balcony overlooking the enclosed courtyard. It was so quiet you’d swear we were alone in the hotel. They have a pillow menu! You can request the perfect pillow from the desk. What a marvellous idea. I read a lot of online reviews about the area. We’re from Vancouver, Canada and it’s no different from the Main Street station. There are so many people here because of the train station so we felt safe. We were just passing through Naples. If you are looking for a longer stay check out the connecting city buses because this would be a nice hotel for a longer stay."
