"Very clean room, and parking available straight across from property, unfortunately its council controlled so not cheap!!
Only downside is no breakfast option Mon-Fri ok at weekends"
"Room was comfortable but could do with updating. Beds were clean and comfortable and it was lovely and peaceful. Didn't have breakfast as had arranged elsewhere. In beautiful surrounding in one of my favourite places. Had dinner in Ancient Mariner which adjoins hotel. That was great."
"Out of main season stay. Room was okay and pleasantly warm. Could have done with a vacuum and dust, but main elements (bed, towels etc) all clean and comfortable. Clearly some low level maintenance/upgrading happening making things look a little shabby, but feels as if in the middle of a process. Quiet enough. Tea making facilities in room. One of those daft things often overlooked, but the kettle lead wasn't long enough to reach a plug socket near the tea station. Perhaps some net curtains so that the sea view could be enjoyed looking out, without all on the outside looking in! The seaview was very clear.
If cannot find free on road parking, then the municipal car park is over £10 for the overnight stay.
Breakfast had to be ordered the night before, with a specific time. The menu choice seemed limiting (and difficult to decide what want for breakfast when only just eaten dinner). What the menu didn't explain was whatever chose, came with tea/coffee, freely available fruit juice, cereals and toast. It was also all extremely tasty, well cooked, hot and one of the best full English I have had in a long time (with veggie option available)."
"I had a beautiful big double room looking out over the sea. Despite the hotel being busy, it was quiet and I slept amazingly well.
The staff were all very kind and helpful.
It was a few short steps to the peaceful beach and easy to walk into Skegness town centre.
I had a chip butty one night and it was huge! :)
Only downside would be the hill and stairs up to the entrance and room if you have limited mobility. Wasn’t enough hot water to fill the bath at night, but that could be due to others’ use."
