Great location. The hotel like older hotels is a little more worn down but perfectly fine and comfortable, especially for the price. It has a great location, close to the beach and a nice little area with a bar and pizza. Food in the restaurant was good. Stayed in the height of summer so the room does not have air con, but I imagine when not in a heat wave it would have been fine.

Nice hotel, very well situated with rare westerly view over sea (sunsets, not common on east coast), very near reliable coastal bus route, good restaurant, well-kept local beer in hotel's pub. Recommended.

My sister and l enjoyed our stay. We didn't have any problems. The hotel was a little bit dated but it had character and we found the staff very friendly.

Bedrooms were a little bit dated. Bathrooms were refurbished. Very nice. Could’ve been a little bit cleaner coffee stains on the wall. Staff were very helpful. The Dune bar could’ve done with small staff. They were rushed off their feet.

Lovely welcome and a very clean spacious room with a nice sea view as requested. Dinner in the restaurant was very nice, everything food wise around that area is a little on the pricey side but it was good. The only let down was a minor one and that was because there wasn't any whisky in the Terrace Bar....and I would have liked a nice whisky or two after dinner. The pub adjoining it is good but very expensive I think.
