"The hotel, although historic, is in good condition. Grounds are lovely, rooms spacious and clean, beds were comfortable and shower was hot. We ate at all three restaurants on site and all were extremely good. Rooftop bar is a must. However it’s the staff that makes the stay. Everyone was so friendly and helpful it made the stay even more enjoyable. I would recommend if attending any event on campus to stay there versus outside campus. "

"Access to our room was difficult. There was a paved path from the parking lot to exterior wooden steps up to the outside door. It took several tries to get the keycard reader to work. Once inside, there was another flight of stairs to get to our floor. When we got to our room, the card key did not work. I hiked all the way back to the lobby with the card keys and told the young woman at the desk they were'nt working. After several minutes she gave me two keys which did work. But there was NO...

"The AC was dysfunctional (it would start with a big startling noise, and would stop after 5 min and keep going on this way all night long). The highway was in my window, horrible insulation, it felt like I was laying in the middle of the road. Also, every person walking, closing a door, or talking you could clearly hear. I slept poorly "

"hotel was clean , the only thing is the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors whether they are beside you or across from you. I did wish I was able to have a safe keeping from the hotel but they could not offer anything (I always get something small to add it to my collection) Other than that i recommend this hotel for anyone ! "From check in to check out, The Sonesta is top tier! Their rooms are beautiful and clean. The bar is gorgeous and perfect for a drink. I especially loved the $15/day credit to use either at the bar, restaurant or cafe. The staff responds to any request quickly and efficiently. The pool is divine with it's heating and the many windows and skylights let in such great sun; perfect for lounging poolside. My only complaint is the inconsistent pool hours.
