"This is an old rooming house that has seen better days, say around 1910. Perhaps it is better in summer when one can have windows open, but the apartment stank of mildew. The electricity is on a meter and one must put coins in to keep it going. In winter they grant a base of a few pounds of electricity per day, but this seems a very out of date system. Finally, the shower did not function. This rooming house was just about the only option for those wishing for a room in Port Erin at the time of my visit, but it is not a very satisfactory option. "

"Great brunch and a lovely host. All the staff were amazing. The food was amazing, albeit the dessert was extremely small for the cost. The hotel is really well kept and clean. Easily one of my best hotel experiences. My wife and i are local and just wanted a day/night without the kids and we absolutely loved it. We are going to make it a semi regularly thing.
