"Every person who works the front desk are the best, so helpful and accommodating. I'm disabled and sometimes places don't care, but here they're always understanding. The location is super convenient, it's a 5min walk 1min drive to Walmart, right off i10, tons of shopping plazas. The pool area is gorgeous. It's safe and quiet. The property and rooms are well maintained. Very clean. I've stayed here a dozen times this year and I have never seen a bug or woke up with mystery bites -- and it's Louisiana so that's no easy feat. They get inside even the best of them. This is my go to for visiting New Orleans. Imo it's worth the drive. Every time I think about mixing it up and staying somewhere else I usually regret it, or I can't find anything comparable. I always come back to here. The only negative I can say is the mattresses are too firm for my back, I have chronic back pain, been through spinal fusion so I can't rate them like a normal person. I can say they aren't delapidated. The thin foam mattress pad I got from Walmart the first time I stayed here paid for itself in my first stay, now I keep it stored in my van for whenever I stay here..But for a normal person the beds are probably ok. "

"Breakfast was a disappointment. Not sure if it was available as Buffet but certainly didn’t want to pay $50 a person. Only other breakfast option..Beignets & coffee. No simple eateries, $50/person buffet & 2 others. Check-in was fast, friendly & easy. Room was clean. One of the slats in blind was broken. There was a crack in the bathroom sink. No brochure with listing of eateries available in casino. The casino uses excellent smoke removers. Good variety of slot machines & minumum amount to play. The staff was friendly, helpful & happy to answer your questions. Easy beach access for walks on the beach & enjoy beautiful sunsets! Rates vary based on day of week & time of month. "

"Spacious room with separate bedroom. Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Nice staff. Clean pool. Cool this time of year, but we still enjoyed it. Happy there was a hot tub. Very nice workout room. Overall, excellent stay!"
