The food was delicious with a very generous breakfast spread, the spa was clean and tidy. The room was so comfortable and tidy, lovely bed!! only a few things which we feel could improve; the coffee, tea and biscuits were not restocked every day so we often had to call to ask. Flannels and a toilet roll were not always resupplied so we needed to call for...

"A lovely place to stay. Beautiful room , very smart and clean, lovely river views, comfy bed and spotless linen.Only downside to room 19 is the noise during the day and early eve from people eating below on the terrace, but very quiet overnight. Also before 9am in the morning, hammer banging and electric drill noise outside window next to our headboard, suggest workmen check if room occupied before commencing work! But overall would recommend a stay, the staff were all very friendly and...

"We booked this for the night before heading off on a cruise. Excellent location, close to train station and able to get a taxi to the cruise port which cost £10. Room was small but had everything we needed, bed was really comfy and the bathroom facilities were great - place was spotless and staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. We didn’t bother with breakfast as we were heading off. Excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend. "
