"This was a solo trip for theatre week and it was perfection! Location is super convenient and the solo room (with window) was the perfect size for me. It had been 20 years since I had stayed there and the upgrades to the hotel were wonderful. Although I never ate at the hotel there were plenty of wonderful food options in the area. I always bring a sound machine with me, so I never heard any noise from the hallway during the evening. Will definitely stay there again on my next solo trip."

"We had to wait a while for our room to be ready. Even though there were lots of staff on the front desk, it didn't appear that they there were all working together effectively. Our room had a large wet patch near the TV but after waiting to get the room, we couldn't be bothered to go down and get it sorted. The shower glass was very dirty but all else ok. We tried a few times to get in the pool and managed to get a half hour slot in middle of the day. Pool was far too small for the needs of the...

"A beautiful hotel. Our room was huge and comfortable. The pillows are very dense but honestly my neck felt great every morning. We lived the luxurious robes and huge bath sheets. Dining was delicious. Location is good. Near trafalgar and embankment. We had a problem with the bathroom plumbing that didn’t seem to concern anyone - while it wasn’t critical it was annoying this the reason for four stars vs five "

Other things they advertise in the hotel such as breakfast and wine and cheese daily are for an additional charge or membership, which travelers won’t usually have memberships. I had to ask for my room to be cleaned, not your usual daily room cleaning like most hotels. "
