"Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Great, helpful staff. Close to bus station, restaurants, stores, boutiques, and four-FOUR charity shops! :)
(Parking is confusing, however. Park in the nearby city lot in a space with WHITE borders-otherwise you may have to pay.)"

"A fabulous experience for my husband and I treating our 11 year old great nephew to an exciting stay in a real Castle.
Staff were wonderful from Reception check in, greeters and Restaurant staff to Reception check out. We experienced the added excitement of a Langley Castle tour learning more about history along with rooftop visit to Chapel and wonderful views.
Excellent."

"Slaley is a grand hotel, outdated in parts, but don't let this put you off.
Check in was quick, room spacious and clean. Nice view over looking the driveway.
Bars were good and not to expensive.
Breakfast was ok,food was fine, but kept running bout. lots of guests and the coffee machines kept running out aswell.
Leisure facilities were good, could do with more loungers, but its finding places to put them.
Overall had a good might away. Would stay again"

The food at dinner and breakfast is excellent in both quality and choice and can be accompanied by beer brewed on site"
"Hotel has a lovely location right on the river and ideal for accessing Hadrian’s wall. Staff were very friendly. We had dinner and breakfast which was good especially after a full day of cycling."
