"Upon initial arrival, our room that was assigned to us was not what we originally purchased. After speaking with the staff, they quickly remedied the situation and gave us free breakfast vouchers for the wonderful restaurant located within the hotel. Staff was very kind, amenities were clean, and the area around the hotel was very nice. Will be staying again "

"A great location, only a short block from the Red 1 Line (downtown and uptown). Recently renovated, the rooms are slightly bigger than most central NY hotels. Staff were very friendly and helpful- umbrellas handed out on a rainy day. It has a bar (good cocktails), but no restaurant. Breakfast is a $10 per person voucher for the bakery and coffee shop in the hotel (although not owned by them). "We stayed 3 nights for a mini-vacation. This hotel was excellent from start to finish. Front desk staff was professional yet friendly and helpful. We were offered our VIP bottle of wine but chose water instead - nice alternative and was restocked frequently. Room upgrade unavailable because they were sold out. "A 2 block walk from Grand Central Station with several subway lines. End of LIRR line from Jamaica/ Air Train from JFK airport only 22 mins. Easy 15 min walk to Times Square. Room was small like most of this type of NYC hotel but bathroom was large with powerful hot shower and always hot water. We had a small balcony with view of Empire State Building.
