"We arrived at noon, too early for check-in but when we spoke to the concierge he said a room was ready & we could book-in now. But only internal rooms were ready & we took one. in hindsight this was wrong as we overlooked noisy machine equipment which made a constant noise & made sleeping difficult. The bedroom & shower room were both a bit small but nothing we couldn't live with. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice & lots available. Even though the hotel was very busy we were seated quickly.
We had a lemonade & a coke in the bar, very small measurers & expensive. Even though we ordered at the bar & took our drinks away ourselves I was amazed to see a service charge added to the bill. Just not worth it.
Housekeeping didn't service our room on our 2nd day and it was a bit of a faff to get it sorted.
Now we know all this we probably will go back as we know the pitfalls to avoid."
