"Location"

"The car park is quite far from reception and all the signs don’t really make sense. Check in was handing me a key after having to call a mobile number that had been left on the desk. No further information like how to get to the room and breakfast. Room was really far away and I had to carry lots of personal items and was a struggle. "You need to pay for parking and that is not mentioned while booking. Breakfast average with tasteless coffee , room clean."

"great stay as usual."

"Comfortable room, decent breakfast, parking and good value"

"Overall atmosphere was one of the best experienced. A 3 night stop. A busy , successful country pub, restaurant, party venue does create a few problems of wear. Which will need addressing fairly soon. Certainly recommend."

"Staff was friendly, full kitchen including washer/dryer, clean and comfortable. Ideally located. I’d definitely stay here again."

"It is a great place to stay"

"Ideal location with free parking. Room only- no food or drink offering but ideal if you just need a base. Plenty of places close by for food and drink. Tea and Coffee making facilities in the room with biscuits. Clean and comfortable overlooking the cricket pitch."

"Overall, a really good hotel. I'd give it 5 stars for cleanliness, it was spotless. The only issue were the mattress, which was quite uncomfortable on one side and definitely needs replacing, and the parking space, which was very small and made parking a bit tricky. The location was great, with lots of lovely restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay here again if I visit the area."

"Adequate room very clean but no breakfast."

"Nice vintage hotel , breakfast was very basic, in line with expectations. Nostalgic location but beautiful"

"Needs better bar, receptionist could serve drinks but not ideal. Breakfast finishes at 9am which is too early."

"Nice hotel in a great location. Free breakfast always nice"
