"The hotel itself was fine. The staff, however, is another story. I am trying to get a receipt of my stay for 5 days now and I have not received an email from them with it. This was charged directly to hotel and my card was charged. I was hung up on multiple times or transferred to numbers that kept ringing. It is inexcusable to not respond to a customer to that has paid to stay in your hotel. And such a simple request."

"The staff was very nice and they let us check in earlier at no cost. However, the hotel is very old and several things didn’t work like the exhaust fan in the restroom. They had only one small table in the room and that wasn’t enough space to put our stuff on, specifically in the bathroom!"

"If you want to stay by Madison square park and be in walking distance to Chelsea, Union square, and essentially any area, The location is amazing. Great restaurant attached (Hole In The Wall). Rooms were good, clean. We had issues with: check in process and our Expedia reservations, the key code (never worked), assistance from staff (met initially with aggressive attitudes), and accommodations of staff (not very informative or helpful)."

"I got upgraded, which I appreciated. The room had a nice view of seven Avenue and 36th St. All of the staff are really friendly. They charged a daily $40 resort fee. The hotel has an arrangement with the café next-door. You get a $20 credit which can be used at the café Next Door are on the second floor with their caféThe food in the next door café, especially the avocado toast with absolutely amazing. "Great place to stay without costing an arm and a leg. 2 block walk to E train and then from there can get to Carnegie Hall, Union Station, and even world trade center. AC eas solid and strong. quickly cools the entire room."

"We travelled as a family of 4 adults and were given 2 queen size mattress. It was adequate for us and comfy. Only gripe I had with the bed was that the bed frame was atop a metal base with sharp edges at the base plus the frame was held together by clasps which jutted out! I had the unfortunate incident of grazing against it twice wand caused a cut both times. I’ve mentioned to the front desk and the lady apologised and said she will notify the management about it. "Clean room, kind staff, good location if you're looking for something a bit quieter than Midtown Manhattan. Price was a bit high but that's Manhattan in general especially during the World Cup."
