"While this stay lacks in the polished stays of a fancy resort it makes up ten-fold in charm and personality. This was the coziest most wonderful stay we've had on our trip yet and we'll definitely be back. Located a mere 4 minute walk from the train station and a 1 minute from the beach this was the low key break we needed. The stay was clean with great amenities. "Great location and a clean modern accommodation. Just a few things we noticed could've helped with our stay~an iron/ironing board, a cork screw opener (for a bottle of wine), hangers for hanging clothes in the closet, and paper towels for the kitchen or kitchen towel for wiping table/dishes, etc... Beside those minor things, it was a nice place and I'd certainly stay there again if I came back to Enoshima!"

"An absolutely amazing stay in Hakone. The room was clean and tidy and oh so very spacious. The private onsen was a dream. The dinner and breakfast options I would highly recommend as there isn’t a lot of options around. Location is slightly inconvenient but that’s just small town life. However, this is a more modern ryokan than a traditional one which was fine with me. A great place to relax and wind down."

"The Onsen (hot spring facilities) was fantastic, especially after a long journey. Breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent. Mostly Japanese food but there are a few choices for those who don't like Japanese food. For me, the meals were great. Sushi, Sashimi, lots of different choices. A true test of Japan. Never had the same thing twice as there were too many choices. Not to mention they had beer, sake and some other alcohols available as part of the buffet. Didn't see anyone abusing the access which is good. The only thing to mention is if you are traveling from Tokyo and are returning there, it would be good to only take a smaller portion of your belongings (send your larger cases to your next hotel) as the rooms are not equipped with closets or drawers so you will be living out of your suitcase. Really wasn't a problem with our two large suitcases. Nice walking path in the back of the facility. Strongly recommend taking a taxi or uber from the train station with your suitcases. We road the bus there which was standing room only along a a very twisty mountain road, OVERALL - WONDERFULL"
