"The room was extremely small. The bathroom you could barely move. The shower door did not close and could not get hot water. We were expected a lot more for our money."

"We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive. This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive...

"Had a lovely stay here as a family. Room was nice and was clean. Hotel was spotless, breakfast was tasty with a great selection. Pool was ideal and staff friendly and helpful."

"Breakfast was great, staff lovely. Leisure suite changing area not clean towards end of the day. I lifted screws off the ground and gave them to the staff. The restaurant at night was a bit of shambles, although both the tables next to me had hour long waits, my own meal came fairly quickly."

"Good sized room, we were surprised how roomy it was, place was clean but there is room for improvement. Breakfast was ok nothing special just avarage. Paying extra for parking on the top is ridiculous especially the rate they charging. Overall We would stay again: good facilities like spa and pool, lovely bar and nice staff."

"It has small bar and very accommodating staff , breakfast is good for the price I pay.We managed to check in early as the room is available and we did had a good rest as we have an early flight. Location is walkable to prince st. And deans village but you can get a bus going to town centre."

"The hotel is in a lovely building, but the decor in our room was odd and dated - it needed a bit of tlc and updating in our opinion. Lovely views of the city and beyond. We wish the blinds/curtains had been black out, as it got quite light in the morning. The big light in our room flickered a lot, so we couldn’t use it. Free parking was great. The room was cleaned each day and had basic amenities - kettle with tea and coffee, ironing board and a safe in the wardrobe."
