"We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. "Good size room with a private bathroom and a lovely view. Free parking and access to the River Tweed for Trout fishing. Excellent evening meal and conscientious staff. Plenty of choice for a continental breakfast and a selection of cooked breakfast options. Very pleasant surroundings and with access to Dryburgh Abbey ruins albeit for an admission fee. You can walk along the river Tweed by walking out of the main gates and turning left to enjoy a circular walk. Would definitely recommend a visit...

"I loved staying in Riccarton. The area was peaceful and the inn had good food, clean rooms, and the bus was practically on their doorstep. Very convenient out of city center accomadation."

"This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again "
