First impressions: the space is dumpy, and dark. It's dark because there are a lack of windows and the walls are painted grey. The walls desperately need a painting! Also, in case of a fire there is no escape from the bedroom. In Canada this accommodation would not be to code because of that. I don't know if this is to government regulations in Holland or not. Otherwise the location is 5star. The bed, bedding, and pillows were 5 star.

Thank you for your response. Although I can't quite place it. The apartment where you stayed has windows on the entire front of the apartment, a large skylight in the living room and a skylight (that can be opened) in the bedroom. The walls are soft gray and have user damage, the apartments are always repainted in the spring / autumn. I am not familiar with the rules in Canada but the situation of our apartment is allowed in the Netherlands. All hotels here have a door to the corridor, regardless of the floor on which the room is located.I cannot place the term 'dumpy' and, in all honesty, find it inappropriate and violating the truth.

Love Haarlem!
Great location, easy checkin and out. With easy parking. Very convenient. It is super close to everything in town and Haarlem is amazing! Loved everything about this place. Speed is much more calm than Amsterdam.

Facility is nice but be aware that there is not full time staff there. Nicely located, parking a little confusing but convenient. The details of the amenities do not mention what is in the room and what is in common areas which added to a bit of confusion. Very friendly staff.

Excellent position, just next to the pedestrian zone with off street parking! We stayed at The Tulip. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend it!

Nous avons adoré cet appartement, facile à trouver, avec place de parking. L’appartement est joliment décoré, il possède également tout le nécessaire pour y passer quelques jours. La rue est calme. Je recommande vivement ce logement.

We found the app in a perfect spot to explore Haarlem and go to Amsterdam. Booking and service was easy and convenient. The app was clean and offered enough towels and shampoo. But we can recommend the app only for two people, because the foldable couch was not comfortable (too soft, you feel the metal frame). A little more dishes and silverware would be good, and a broom to clean sand and crumbs.

Moderne, goed onderhouden appartement wat van alle gemakken is voorzien. De locatie is super t.o.v. het centrum (1 minuut lopen). Contact met host verliep heel prettig. Enige minpuntje was het uitzicht op de parkeerplaats en weinig lichtinval.

Séjour très agréable, un parking sur place - ça c'est formidable et l'appartement est très bien placé . Seul petit bémol , les lumières du plafond de la chambre ne marchait pas , la table basse est vraiment très petite pour manger et on ne peut aérer l'appartement qu'on ouvrant la porte , c'est dommage, sinon nous avons passé un très bon moment à Haarlem .

Top verblijf! Ligging is echt ideaal, je loopt zo de stad in. Auto het hele weekend gratis kunnen parkeren. We waren al eerder in Haarlem, ruim voordat we konden inchecken, maar we konden onze auto al kwijt op de parkeerplaats op het binnenterrein.

Haarlem im verregneten Februar 2020 ;-)
Ganz nettes Apartment in guter innerstädtischen Lage. Zu Fuß sind viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und Shopping-Möglichkeiten gut zu erreichen. Die rezeptionlose Kommunikation funktionierte sehr gut. Es gibt ein gutes WLAN und mehrere deutsche Fernsehprogramme. Besonders positiv ist das Parken im verschließbaren Innenhof direkt vor dem Apartment. Leider gab es am letzten Morgen kein warmes Wasser - was aber sicherlich eine unvorhersehbare Ausnahme gewesen ist. Wir würden theoretisch wieder kommen. Danke.

Wir waren begeistert von dem kleinen Hotel. Es liegt direkt im wunderschönen Zentrum von Haarlem und dennoch ruhig. Kostenlose Parkplätze sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Die Zimmer sind modern und sauber. Auch ein Babybett stand zur Verfügung. Hervorzuheben ist der herzliche Service von Brenda und Kevin. Sie waren sehr hilfsbereit und standen mit Tipps zur Seite. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank!

Die Lage war super alles war in der Nähe z.b. Fährt nach Amsterdam? Wir sind 5 min zum Bahnhof gelaufen und von dort mit dem Zug nach Amsterdam (15min) oder 10 min mit dem Auto zum Strand also von der Lage her war es wirklich top und ich habe noch nie so nette Angestellte gesehen

L'appartement est très bien situé, à quelques pas du centre-ville, Haarlem étant une très belle ville touristique. Il y a un supermarché vraiment proche (env 400 m). La gare est à 10 mn à pied et permet de se rendre à Amsterdam pour 9€ environ. Il y a des trains régulièrement et vous arrivez directement au coeur d'Amsterdam. Vraiment pratique ! L'accueil a été facilité par Brenda qui se débrouille très bien en français et qui est vraiment sympa. La literie est vraiment de bonne qualité (sauf pour le canapé-lit qui reste un couchage d'appoint) et l'appartement est propre et fonctionnel. Le petit-déjeuner est un plus appréciable. Le micro-ondes permet de se faire des plats préparés à réchauffer, très bien si comme nous, vous ne souhaitez pas vous embêter, mais ne comptez pas faire de la cuisine d'autant plus qu'il n'y a pas de frigo mais juste un petit mini-bar. Il y a par ailleurs à 2 pas tout ce qu'il faut pour se restaurer: friterie, kebab, restos... En résumé, une très bonne expérience et une adresse à recommander.

Kleines B&B mit persönlicher, netter Betreuung.
Leider hat das kleinste Zimmer nur ein Fenster zu einem Flur, nicht nach draussen. Das wird aber durch eine leise Klimaanlage aufgefangen. Sehr freundliches Personal, gutes Frühstück in Buffetform. Viele Tips für die Tagesgestaltung. Schönes Bad und bequemes Bett.

tolle lage, komfortabler ausstattung der wohnung
super zentrale lage in haarlem. die wohnung befindet sich nicht im hauptgebäude mit der rezeption und frühstücksraum, sondern ca zwei drei minuten um die ecke in einer einkaufsstraße...und dort direkt im erdgeschoss...also wie ein ladengeschäft mit schaufenster und eingangstür...man kann demzufolge das fenster nicht öffnen. als sichtschutz dienen rollos und eine dicke gardine. es ist also recht dunkel im raum und im schlafzimmer und bad gibt es keine fenster. frühstücksbuffet ist ok...es gibt einen großen runden tisch um den sich alle gäste platzieren und frühstücken können.

Super Service, aber leider das schlechteste Zimmer
Eine Woche verbrachten wir im wunderschönen Haarlem. Die Eigentümer dieser Pension sind fantastisch, kümmern sich um alles. Die Pension ist super gelegen, direkt in der Innenstadt von Haarlem, alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen. Es gibt auch kostenlose Parkplätze, was wichtig ist, da auf der Straße häufig Gebühren anfallen. Frühstück ist nicht überragend, aber gut und ausreichend. Sie wollten bloß darauf achten nicht die Comfort Suite zu buchen. Diese hat keine Fenster ist sehr klein und man kommt sich sehr eingesperrt vor. Bad ist zudem sehr kalt wegen einer dauerhaften Lüftung. Die anderen Zimmer machen einen sehr viel besseren Eindruck. Also gerne hinfahren, aber dieses eine Zimmer meiden.

Perfecte locatie voor stedentrip Haarlem
Prima verblijf gehad in kamer Tulp met gezin met 2 grote kinderen. Zeer grote woonkamer met slaapbank (prima voor de kinderen) en slaapkamer met goed bed. Het was erg koud toen wij er waren, daardoor de temperatuur wat moeilijker/langzamer te regelen is via de vloerverwarming (ivm grote koude ramen aan straatzijde). Ramen en ingang woonkamer direct aan Zijlstraat, geeft 's nachts soms geluidsoverlast door luidruchtige voorbijgangers. In slaapkamer zelf geen last van. Alles is als nieuw. Veel aandacht voor details en aankleding. Een kapstok zou misschien wel handig zijn. Alles is gezellig ingericht en zeer complete keuken in de woonkamer. Badkamer ook zeer ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien (misschien zouden paar handdoek haakjes nog handig zijn). Ontbijt was erg lekker (werd vers brood gebakken elke ochtend, heerlijk) en compleet. Hiervoor wel even buitenom lopen naar andere gebouw/zijstraat. Gastheer erg vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Locatie perfect!!!! Gratis parkeren achter het gebouw en alles in het centrum op loopafstand. Ook supermarkten dicht bij. Geen betere locatie te vinden in Haarlem als je met je eigen auto komt.
