"Great rooftop area, room with heated floors. The bathroom is a wet room so water really goes everywhere when you shower.
Breakfast is available... But if you see any leftovers out in the afternoon (without any signage) don't eat them! Apparently they're not there for you to eat but are actually sitting out waiting for breakfast the next day..."
"The Hanok is beautiful and in a great location. The best part is the wonderfully friendly owners. Highly recommended! I’d love to return someday. Hasta pronto!! "
"Didn't get to stay at Hotel due -wanting and putting a search for Seoul, this hotel would be close to 300 kms away from Seoul, this didn't come up in description so therefore i was fully expecting to be staying there. Msg'd Hotels.com and they informed its non refundable and said they would contact Hotel when it was the company's fault for advertising falsely, be careful when dealing with this company, can't say what hotel was like"
"This hotel is very well designed. Love every little details they have in the room, very thoughtful and user friendly. Facilities at common area are wonderful, the massage chairs are a pleasant surprise. Will definitely come back for my next visit. "

Walk the small laneways to admire the architecture and the scenic vistas, or stay a night to really experience this beautiful and historic little village.
The historic archeological sites are interesting and no doubt important culturally to Koreans, the hanok villages are quiant. The town, however, is over-touristed, expensive (by Korean standards), and tacky. One unexpected highlight: Bar Boon

Picture perfect location to spend a couple of days when in South Korea. Makes an ideal stop off between Seoul and Busan (or vice-versa). Don't miss Jungang Night Market

One must visit Hawnglidangil where all the shops and restaurants are along with ginormous graveyards of kings from ancient Shila dynasty.

"beautiful location/property. large spacious room and bath. good storage options. offered Hanbok as part of the stay (limited hours). staff was very accommodating showing us around and helping us with transportation options. very pleasant stay and experience. "
"An excellent location near many attractions near by. So many choices of food and cafés, all excellent!
Because the hotel is located ny the street, it may be noisy at times but once you fall asleep, i slept through. Very easily accessable to public transportation. I would strongly recommend this hotel. "
"Kolon Hotel was remodeled in 2023, so the beds and facilities (air conditioning, bathroom, amenities, etc.) were excellent.
However, perhaps because it was only a renovation, the window frames are still a bit outdated.
There weren’t any major downsides, but it wasn’t perfect either.
It offers great value for money, and the breakfast in particular was outstanding and delicious.
What I liked the most was the Time After Time exhibition. If you’re Korean, I highly recommend getting tickets.
The program was great, the facilities were well maintained, and there was a lot to see.
Both the kids and the whole family were very satisfied."
"I had a suite for a day. Rooms were clean, and the view was excellent.
However, I cannot recommend this place to non-Koreans as there are very limited choices for activities and restaurants. All the restaurants are seafood places. Mostly sushi places, if you enjoy sushi, this place would be a great choice. We had live fish sushi for about 40,000 won per person, and it was excellent."
