"The location was great as we also visited Gyeongju world. Options around the hotel for food outside are very limited so ended up going into the town every evening. Unfortunately the concierge were not very helpful when we asked questions on how best to see the sites, but just ended up using the internet to build our own itinerary. We had a family room for 4 but there were only 3 towels, 3 robes etc.. the first day we asked for extra, but then had to ask every other day. The buffet was good."

"Hanok style stay for 1 night. Loved the setup of the room (moo moo - the room name) tatami, with ensuite bathroom and amenities. During end Nov stay, heated floors and heat lamps in bathroom. Simple breakfast. "

"I loved my business stay at Sono Calm Yeoju, so this time I chose Sono Calm Gyeongju. First of all, I really liked the location, and having a hot spring within the resort made it even more appealing. I still don't quite understand why hotel guests only receive a 20% discount for using it, but I suppose that's common in Korea, where pools and spa facilities are often charged separately. "Aww, we love Hanok so much! It was such a hot day, but once we stepped inside of the Hanok, cooled room welcomed us. Because Hanok is made of wood, it just feels so comfortable being there. Highly recommended, and walkable to many restaurants and cafes."

"The views are beautiful however the beds are so uncomfortably hard that we found it really hard to sleep and woke up sore in the morning. Also the front desk changes the air conditioning in your room without notice, so it was extremely hot some of the time. For the price, it's an ok place to stay however they really need better mattresses and AC. Also they advertise pool access however this is not true. There is no access to a pool so this was misleading."
