Gulf of Salerno Hotels with Swimming Pool

"We loved Hotel Angelina. A little ways from downtown Sorrento but the area was fabulous with quiet streets and great restaurants. The hotel staff was wonderful. "

"Enjoyed the roof top bar and breakfast had plenty of selections for all tastes. We wished we had checked out the beautiful gardens sooner. They were gorgeous. Getting ice for personal use in our room was a challenge."

"A beautifully appointed property with all the amenities right at easy reach. The restaurant is fantastic, but not for the casual diner. You'll be there a while. If you need a simple meal, the rooftop is good, and there are options within a block."

"The hotel is impeccable. The room was clean and spacious. No complaints about the property. However, is important to consider that is up in one of the hills. You can walk down to the town but it’s hard to climb back up. There is no sidewalk and the road is busy with buses, cars, motorcycles, etc. That is Amalfi so do your research. Breakfast was bread, cold cuts, yogurts and coffee. They had hard boiled eggs too. They said they are not allowed to cook. So be prepared for that. There are a few restaurants walking distance but they close from 3pm-7pm. That is Amalfi and Italy for you. The owners are polite except for the most senior guy. We saw him slap a guest in the hand for trying to make a sandwich and putting it in the toaster oven. I got yelled at for accidentally taking a banana out of the breakfast area. The other guys who I assume are his sons were polite and helpful but be careful with that older guy."
