Oasis inside
The Armida is not impressive from the outside, but is wonderful inside. The grounds, rooms, and pool area are excellent. Truly an oasis in the middle of the city.

lucilla, hemos visto su mala calificación. por lo que nos gustaría saber un poco más de su experiencia en nuestras instalaciones. ya que su opinión es muy importante para nosotros para poder mejorar esos puntos los cuales no estuvo de acuerdo y así poder solucionar para que pueda regresar o simplemente para que no llegue a pasar lo mismo con otro huésped. esperemos que nos pueda ayudar. de igual manera le pedimos una disculpa las molestias que pudo haber tenido, pero si nos gustaría saber un poco más de su visita a nuestro hotel.

The beds were great, the place was clean and I loved the gardens and restaurant. The front desk staff did not even attempt to help me understand their Spanish, or try to understand my English- very rare in my extensive travels in Sonora! All other staff were attentive, patient and kind.

I had a conformation on my pet friendly room. When I tried to check in I was told no cats. Dogs are ok but no cats. Expedia had called me three days previous to ask about my travelling with a pet. I informed him I had a cat. No problem he said. But today when I was checking in a woman informed the young man that was checking me in that no cats were allowed. Now I would like to know how I can get my money back for this room I was denied. Please let me know.

Las instalaciones son antiguas, le están invirtiendo pero aún es muy básico. Las áreas comunes y el restaurante muy bien. El personal muy amable y atento. La habitación muy limpia aunque se ve algo viejo (ej. las sábanas estaban rasgadas). En general bien aunque la tarifa es un poco alta para el lugar. Por muy poco más hay otros hoteles (del mismo grupo) de mayor calidad que incluyen el desayuno.

Super great Hotel. Personal pfofesional our first time at Guaymas and this Hotel make a great memory to my husband and I. I do not want to forget anybody but special thanks to Laura, Juan Carlos and a very nice lady housekeeping. Thanks Laura for the extra cold water for our trip back. Ultimately do not anybody hesitate to book this Hotel.

Safe and clean property,very comfortable bed. Restaurant on site was nice and pet friendly! Water wasnt as hot as i like but for Mexico that isnt unusual.

Front end of the hotel is nicely renovated, including the breakfast/restaurant area. Our deluxe room was also renovated, basic, but clean and large with a nice bathroom. Room lacked some amenities like fridge, coffee maker, or microwave. Restaurant was excellent quality and value for both dinner and breakfast. Steakhouse waiter Fidel was a huge help with English/Spanish communications. Some sites say no parking, but actually nice secure parking in the rear.

I will be back
Armida Hotel is a very nice budget friendly hotel. Staff were friendly. Room was clean and stocked with all the essentials. Parking was secure and staffed by security 24/7. The hotel offered free breakfast buffet. We stayed 4 nights and breakfast items changed on a daily basis. El Oeste, the steak house connected to the hotel was delicious. Rated #1 in Guaymus on Trip Advisor. The hotel manager, who happened to be at El Oeste the first night we were there was very friendly and attentive. Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and looking for k forward to returning in near future.

Not the best stay
The stay was complicated by a lot of construction on the property. I had to be shifted around because my room had no running water. Other things appeared to not be in top condition. However the location and convenience for me balanced out my stay.

Friendly, clean and convenient
Everything within walking distance. For me great for a quick stop and to get on my way. Comfortable. Great restaurant attached to hotel! Will become a permanent stop on my frequent travels through the area.

Stay at Hotel Armida
Other than the average condition of the room, the hotel is most inviting. The pool area is lovely with cacti, palms and comfortable lounge chairs and tables. The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Also, with two restaurants in the hotel we were able to order from either one. Our plentiful steak dinner was very good, as was our complimentary buffet breakfast. We also appreciated the secure parking. We will return.
Pool Area-You would never know you were staying in a hotel in town.
