"Staff was amazing. Room was soo clean. This is an animal friendly hotel and I knew that before booking, but this is also from the reviews the best hotel in town. I’m very impressed at the fact that you could not find dog hair anywhere in this room. It was extremely clean. Only thing is you could definitely smell prior dog in the room. "They had smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms we went into the smoking first and it looked like they threw the box springs in mud and just put them back in the room. We went to the non-smoking room on one bed obvious dog hair all over I have pictures and the other bed had been used. If I didn't have to give any stars they would have got zero. Unless you are absolutely desperate no matter of fact sleep outside."

"Hi, I stayed at Quality Inn Hampton, New Port- News in Room 602, from 6/25/26 to 6/27/26. The room was filthy and smelled bad. Sink was clogged, shower had no pressure and only dripped, and the iron sprayed water on my clothes. This was unacceptable. I’m requesting a full refund for my stay. Please reimburse my credit card. Thanks!"

"The room was not cleaned, there were stains and food debris on the sheets, clear signs of bedbugs being present, all metal surfaces were rusted over, the mattresses were damp and sticky, the "staff" was a video kiosk that connected to a call center. Even after not staying in the room at all, and alerting the "staff" of all the issues and that I wanted to cancel my stay (I wasn't in the room for more than 10 minutes before deciding to leave) they refused to refund my money unless they showed me...
