Quaint hotel that is privately owned and the family is pleasant and welcoming to visitors. We learned so much about the area and the personable staff really made our stay extra special!
This hotel is amazing, great views, the family that runs this is so nice and friendly. The hotel could use a little bit of an update but honestly for the price, it cant be beat.
Hotel Rivera is on a quiet avenue just in front of the lake. At the corner the bus takes you to Lake Como in about 50 minutes which is great. They have a continental breakfast. The hotel is very close to Villa Del Balbianello!!
Great location beside the water in Griante with views across to Bellagio. For 20 euro take C10 bus along lakefront to Como town bus terminus, then slow ferry along Lake Como to Bellagio, then car ferry back to Griante / Cadenabba for a full day explore very cheaply.
Great location with views of the lake. Next to ferry making it easy to go to various towns with out a car. Restaurants close by with ability to sit by the lake and enjoy views of Bellagio and ravena
Great view of Lake Garda from the hotel, can see straight across to Vareena and Bellagio. Hotel is short walk from ferry stop Cadenabbia, which was great for visiting the nearby towns. Very well located.
Hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Loved this cute little find, the room was so cozy for one, and the food from the bar next door was incredible! so easy to access by bus of by ferry. Had a good sleep, but quite a firm mattress and maybe a second pillow wouldn’t go astray for next time.

Nica and quiet hotel with an amazing view of the Lago Como. Nice.
Great little hotel on the lake. Old worldly but comfortable and convenient. The view across the lake was beautiful. Good breakfast. Close to get, free parking. Loved it.
Such a beautiful hotel with a stunning view of the lake! Great value for your money, you could probably go broke staying on Lake Como but this B&B was in a great location and was so reasonably priced! Breakfast was wonderful. Check in was easy and the lady at the front desk was so kind a welcoming. It’s located in one of the smaller towns around Lake Como but there are a. Couple of restaurants nearby that are easy to walk to. Convenient parking.
We stayed 4 nights and apartment was great. Very clean, well equipped and comfortable.
Our host met us at the apartment to show us round and was super helpful.
The apartment is 15 minutes by tram from florence station and then literally 2 mins from the tram stop to apartment. Trams run very regularly.
Would highly recommend this apartment
This family-owned hotel was exceptionally clean. The pictures are exactly what you get. (It is time to replace the beds) The bathrooms are updated and extremely clean as are the rooms. The location was great for taking the ferries. Breakfast everyday was good. Owners were very helpful when giving advice as to where to go/eat/shop.
The absolute best thing about the Hotel Riviera was the staff. Friendly, welcoming, helpful. Sylvia is an angel. We had several conversations about family and life. Their ristorante was excellent and the waiters professional.
The Hotel Riviera is a gem. It is about 200 meters from the ferry which takes you across the lake to Bellagio in 10 minutes It is considerably less expensive than any accommodation over there.
If you’re looking for an economical alternative to the overpriced 5 star hotels along Lake Como, stay here. Tell Sylvia that I sent you.
The only good thing about this “hotel” is the location. Rooms outdated but okay for the price, however very cold.
On the other hand please avoid this accommodation, the receptionist I assume owner named Silvia wrongfully accused us stealing from the breakfast then started an argument being quite aggressive and making no solid point which is totally unacceptable as we were paying guests. Only the gentleman at the reception tried to deescalate the situation which made us not to pursue furthermore the situation.
This has made such a bad impact on our trip, she was hitting a tone that was derogatory , was pushing the lines of bullying and was far from professional behavior.
One night stay as I toured the region by motorcycle.
Opted for a single room.
Room I had was for guests needing assistance or disabled. This was on third floor which I found interesting if lift is out of action for any reason. Room was a little small but bathroom was huge.
Staff were very friendly, very welcoming and very polite.
Hotel is on main road but has fabulous views of the lake. The restaurant joined on is not part of the hotel I was told but the food was very good indeed.
A nice stay and nice people to be around. Good car park and lovely views from most rooms.
