"What a neat little gem just steps away from downtown Placerville and still surrounded by nature! We even saw a whole deer family on the front lawn. Historic charm meets all the amenities you can ask for. We were in the Inverness room with our two pups and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host was super attentive and responsive. The only thing people have to be aware of is that the bed is super soft. If you like that, this is the room for you, if not, you may want to try one of the other...

"It was hard to find because there was no sign, but the accommodation was comfortable and quiet. The best thing was breakfast. I was able to start the day with a lot of food such as toast, eggs and coffee. It was really good food."

"I'm a local who chose this property for a "staycation" and I will definitely come back! Our room was spacious, clean, and had fun additions like a working type writer and record player. We were a five minute walk from Ice Blocks and parking was no problem. The host Barbara has lots of adorable Frenchies and is super fun to talk to- had a great breakfast with her! I would definitely recommend this to locals and tourists. LGBTQ friendly as well. Thank you!!"
