"The room was very clean. No interaction was needed with the staff. An amazing surprise was having an ice maker in the room which was very helpful for me. The air conditioning worked great. I did not have the opportunity to use the amenities but there was something for everyone and every age."

"The Pell Hotel is a great option if you are looking for a modern, more affordable accommodation while visiting Newport. Be prepared to pay $20 one way per Uber ride to/from Newport. Despite what you may read, the bus is inconvenient and unreliable. Staff was friendly and room was clean. "The location is great, the staff were friendly but the hotel itself is not particularly impressive, especially for the price. Poorly maintained and in need up renovation. I guess for the price I thought the rooms would be impressive but they weren’t. Dimly lit, holes in the bathroom baseboard and a peeling door, the bed was creaky tho reasonably comfortable. Not what I expected for the $$"

"It was a good, convenient place to stay, near Westerly. Room was spacious. Bed was quite comfortable. Nice large bathroom with a nice shower. Unfortunately illness forced us to leave after just one night, and we then forfeited the cost of the second night. Not their fault, but it would have been nice to receive an adjustment since we paid over $700 for the room."

"Being a handicapped person with mobility issues the check in was horrid. We brought everything in to finally relax in our room, to be told we were located in "the barn". She walked us outside and pointed to the barns location. Had to put everything BACK in our vehicle and drive to the location, as I could not walk the distance. It would have been greatly appreciated if we knew what building we were going to be in and my husband could have just received the key. The room...ugh!"
