"While the room looked like it was recently painted I was disappointed to discover it was for a handicapped person without any prior notice. I imagine it impacted the price of the room and perhaps made it cheaper but I would have paid more if I was offered a regular room without the open shower stall. "I have an understanding that you get what you pay for but as hotels/motels goes this one was very disappointing. The only thing I can say the front desk staff was nice. The motel smelled bad, even for a smoking/non smoking motel. When we came in the room the floor was wet. Which we would make us happy thinking it was just mopped BUT the floors of the whole entire room ended up being sticky afterwards. Not very family friendly. "The beach bar was being worked on with a backhoe moving sand & workers outside even on Sunday. There was only one chair, no hairdryer, no iron, no freezer in the fridge, no ice at the property & the only other guests on the property were right next to our room smoking on the balcony/ stair area with their chairs causing smoke the waft into our room. The room furnishings were nice but the mattresses was very old & soft. "

"Overall, our stay was great. The room and bathroom was clean. Room was a little smaller than anticipated and TV, while in a great location to the bed, did stick out a bit and could be an issue for someone over 5'5". The hallway in the upper level could use a little updating but not an issue to the room. We did not try the breakfast as we had to be at our race location before breakfast was served. I would stay again as it was in a good location. "

"Dirty shower curtain hair on beds on sheets Air from heat was musty smelling. The mattress gave me horrible back ache i was so disgusted that we were ready to go and sleep in the car. I felt terrible for the kids we drove for 5 hours to look in to the beautiful college campus Salve Regina it was ruined by this place it totally grossed me out. It was a nightmare. I wanted to cancel the room i had kids with me the clerk didn't let me."

"It is a quaint motel across the street from the beach. The gentleman that checked us in was very friendly and efficient. The room is not very big but it has everything you need for a short stay. We enjoyed our stay."
