"The room wasn’t ready at check in (21:00) then suddenly it was. The room was smelled damp and musty. I requested another room, none available. The carpet had been cleaned, the room should not have been in use until the carpet had dried. I was subsequently offered another room but that had just had its carpet cleaned, pointless. Window open all night to air the room but the hotel sign rattled in the wind. Complimentary breakfast by way of apology. Woken by the din from the gym below. Staff...
"Nice hotel in the Wirral. Nice facilities such as Bar, restaurant, gym pool etc however gym and pool isn’t included in the stay, you have to pay extra and also parking you have to pay extra.
Staff weren’t particularly helpful, I had to ask about the pool and had to ask about breakfast times, they didn’t tell us anything until I asked.
Room was spacious but too hot and no air con.
Bath needed a rinse before I could use it"
