"Stayed recently for 5 nights with my partner.
A short distance from the BSI Bus Terminal, the hotel is easy to get to on foot (10 mins walk, although up a steep hill!), and a fantastic location for access to Rainbow Street and the centre of Reykjavik (again 10 mins walk).
From the minute of checking in to checking out, every staff member we spoke to was friendly, courteous and helpful when answering queries (especially the gentleman who was on front desk, he's a credit to the Hotel, no question...

"The proximity to downtown was great. The room although getting tired looking was clean. We found the staff both at check in and check out extremely accommodating. The one issue I had was breakfast was definitely not worth the price. The choice and quality was good but it was not worth 100.00 Canadian for two!"

"This was our last stay on a 2-week Iceland trip and we loved it. It was our home away from home. The house is very comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed conversations with our host after breakfast. She is a lovely, like-minded, genuine soul with a love for art and music and provided some great recommendations. We enjoyed reading in the shared living room and having tea and breakfast in the kitchen - breakfast was plentiful and we especially enjoyed the home-baked breads and treats. The house is a...

"The location was great. Walking distance to many restaurants and shops. However, our room was facing the Main Street and there is one pub and nightclub. On Saturday night people were playing music and singing onto the street til 5 am. No sleep….also there was no hair conditioner. We asked and they said we would have it on our room the next day but nothing came,"
