"The hotel is historic and beautiful. The family that runs it is friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is decent and on site. We rented a suite and it was very spacious. The kitchen cabinets were empty and we couldn’t get wine glasses from the restaurant to enjoy the bottle of wine we brought to have with dinner from the restaurant that we ate in our room. There is no pool which would be nice at a resort as big as that. "

"Mostly good for a Howard Johnsons. Nothing to set apart either good or bad experience wise. Mostly middle of the road. Biggest issues were our door key cards stopped working everyday. Had to either get new keys or have them reset at least 5 times. The bathroom fixtures were also loose."

"The hotel at one point was probably amazing- but now has an early 2000’s feel. The room and main lobby were very clean. The pool and hot tub area need to not only be cleaned, but updated. The handles are coming out of the cement and super wiggly. The amount of hair clumps that were in the pool was nasty, and the hot tub has horrible water rings and SAND or broken concrete in the bottom? Water temps and levels also need to be monitored. Breakfast was decent for a continental and was appreciated with how much travel we’ve been doing."

"We’ve stayed here 3 times. this time in room 238 and once again the bathroom door would not shut because it needs to be trimmed off at the top - it sticks. The clothes hanger rack was coming out of the wall. The anchors were exposed and hanging. The TV remote was coming apart and had already been held together with duct tape. I had to use my own tape to hold it together to use."
