"Beautiful hotel jam packed with history. Super clean and you could tell they pride themselves on all the big and small details. We saw the bar tender after the main bar was closed one night on his hands and knees cleaning and polishing the brass legs of the tables. This building is a treasure and I applaud ownership for maintaining it. Well done and please continue."

I'd stay here again without question. Just outside was the river trail with great river scenery, and a quarter mile or so to Riverfront Park and downtown. Also, the parking was generous and well lit."

"Our room was clean. We have stayed here many times but this stay was disappointing. We weren’t able to get a first floor room in building where we usually stay, the food was not as good and over the past several years we saw a decline. We always loved staying there but this time it was way too busy. Not sure we will return"

"I failed to read reviews for this one, major lesson learned. Parking was done with a hope and a prayer, breakfast was better just not served. Fasting is the more appropiate breakfast to be had while staying here, but the biggest lesson is just not stay here anymore. I didn't learn this until after paying in full for my stay, but the area is called "Zombie Alley" and for good reason."
