"Clean room and bathroom. Toiletries in bathroom. On the beach. Clean pool. Very comfortable beds. Nice quiet, safe neighborhood. Restaurants and shop within walking distance. This is my 2nd time in the property. Complimentary parking for 1 car."

"Upon arrival, the pictures on their website looked nothing like the property. There was mildew and mold in the bottom of the swimming pool. We immediately tried to cancel and had no cooperation with owner or management of the facility. If you look at the other reviews, it is filthy dirty would not recommend anyone."

"Dee Jay Beach resort is a great place to stay in Lauderdale by the Sea. Not only us it in a great location, our efficiency was comfortable and roomy. The owner was on site and attended to any needs we had. The backyard was a nice respite from the hectic travel and had a pool and lounge chairs to relax and rest. There was a shopping plaza a short distance away, which housed a super market, a diner, and so much more. A short drive, led us to a great area with lots of restaurants and shops. ...

"This was the second time we've stayed at the Surfsider. The first time was five years ago, in May 2021. Miss Sam took good care of us both times. Camilo & Cinnamon were very accommodating, too. Cinnamon even printed out a map to the Cuban restaurant we were trying out for the first time. This place is a hidden gem.
