"Bill at Le mer is very nice and helpful. The room was super clean. The hotel is close to the beach. Just across the street. A few blocks down there are multiple restaurants and bars to choose from. Lauderdale by the sea is a wonderful place to stay. This is my second year in a row coming here. Stayed 14 nights. Had a wonderful time. Fort lauderdale is very close and pompano beach is very close as well."

"Very nice and clean hotel with an excellent location. Office staff was very friendly upon arrival. Later in the room it was difficult and I could not turn on the TV as it took two remotes that I couldn't figure out how to get the TV to come on. Then the air conditioning was set at 75 and there was a controller on the wall that didn't work. Upon calling the office the next day and tell him staff they told me they were sorry. Then called back and said that the air conditioning works fine and that the controller was inside the closet, which I had no idea that I should look inside the closet. They also said that the TV worked and they went there and got it to come on but it took both remotes to do it. It was a one-night stay for business and other than the air conditioning and television, the air conditioning being the most important, it was very nice. I felt a discount or a discount in the future would be appropriate. However, none was offered. I do come to the area two or three times a month and would love to stay at that hotel again."

"The pool and pool side cabanas were a nice touch. There was a $200 refundable deposit when you get there that I felt was pretty high, but I did receive it after a few days after check out. The main issue I had was on my 4 night stay the TV in the room was not working on day 3 and 4. I informed the staff and they said Comcast was down in the area. I did not receive any discount or compensation for this inconvenience. The other issue I had there was the chauffeur service. It is a $35 flat fee from a 3rd party one way! An uber is cheaper, but with no other amenities other than a pool you would think they would offer something like this for the guest. The staff was helpful otherwise and the beach is roughly a 10-minute walk. The picture they have is not a great depiction of what it looks like."
