We were a group of 8 adults and 2 children. We had a great time staying at the property which was in the midst of a rainforest. Children had a great time and we had everything we wanted in the property itself. Bruce was really helpful in answering all of our questions
Honestly, what an amazing property! And what a beautiful couple. The entire stay was faultless. So many extras including exploring the property and large fig trees, bush walks, herb garden, horses and chicken (but not near the house). Would recommend and we’ll absolutely be back!

The previous good reviews all seem to be a few years old and this property is looking very tired. It is a delightful historic cottage but the lounges are old and sagging and the tv was not working well during our stay. The beds are comfortable and the facilities clean but it was expensive and not really what we expected. The bbq shed is a pleasant outdoor area. There are horses but no chickens anymore so no fresh breakfast supplies provided. Beware that the horses on the property bite and should not be approached. My husband was bitten quite badly and his shirt ripped which really frightened our little grandchildren. The valley is beautiful and there are lovely spots to visit close by. 5 stars for the environment but 3 stars for the cottage.
Our host Bruce greeted us on arrival, he is a happy, welcoming soul and made us feel right at home. The cottage is peaceful, and we loved sitting on the deck watching the horses. Great place for a relaxing break with friends or family :)
We had an amazing time on the farm. Plenty to do for a short stay. We feed and pat the horses, feed the chickens and collected eggs, fed a few gold fish, collected and ate macadamia nuts from the tree. Our daughter enjoyed jumping on the trampoline and loved the children’s play room. We also enjoyed making a fire for our marshmallows and had a BBQ with great views. Bruce showed us around and told us some of the history which was very interesting. Thanks again for having us.
Lovely welcoming hosts. Very relaxing weekend. Everything you need 😀

Our stay was amazing. Fridge was stocked with fresh farm eggs, butter and bread. Our gorgeous cottage was very cozy and had everyrthing we needed complete with an extensive movie collection.
Our hosts Bruce and Gabby were lovely pointing out swamp wallabies and introduced us to their horses. You must have a bbq in the BBQ hut which has views of the property and a fire pit to die for.
Awesome stay and we will be back.
Thanks for the pumpkin Bruce 😃. Jodi and Chris
The views and surroundings are what make this property the most peaceful and relaxing place to take a break from the hustle and bustle. For nature lovers who love trees and birds and the sounds of horses and chooks just doing their thing. The hosts are friendly and welcoming but very respectful of your privacy. All needs attended to! Highly recommended.
The hosts (Gabby and Bruce) were so welcoming and friendly; their home is spotless! The meals they prepared were delicious; Bruce's BBQ was so clean that it looked brand new! The three horses are beautiful, and Gabby gives them so much love and care! Free range chickens with free range eggs for breakfast. Beautiful trees and such peaceful surroundings. Thanks Gabby & Bruce … we plan to visit you again!
We stayed in the main house which was extremely comfortable and clean. Bruce and Gabrielle were so friendly and welcoming, we felt like family. Bruce took time to take us around this very well maintained property and told us about the history, trees and horses. Dinner was delicious and the time spent with our hosts was very entertaining. We will visit again.
It was a lovely place to stay for the night wish it was longer we didn’t want to leave gabby and Bruce were wonderful people thanks guys keep up the great work we will be back
The surroundings are beautiful and it is very quiet. The owners were really welcoming. They have chooks so we had freshly laid eggs for breakfast. They tasted fantastic. The house is very well kept and clean. It's a great getaway spot close to Brissy.
The rating selections do not offer a choice high enough. This is a secret paradise, utterly charming and delightful hosts, stunning property, and almost fastidiously clean. This is perhaps the standout venue we have stayed in on all our trips. Thank you so much we will recommend this place to all.
