"1st night I complained to front desk about adjoining room whose occupants started noisily partying at midnight, staff came up and immediately put an end to it"

"We stay for the convenience not being far from the airport is a bonus. The hotel is old and dated but if your only there for 1 night its sufficient. Staff are alway nice and friendly."

"Fairly ok. Checked in late at night and had to go out without seeing the room. Reception unmanned from 930pm to 9am so didn’t get to give feedback for carpets that seemingly were not vacuumed. "

"The photos shown online do not match the reality of the property. The large reception and dining area are no longer used. Units are tired, especially bathrooms. No shower caddy or soap dish to put anything on. Was given a hairdryer when asked. Did some laundry which was very reasonably priced but room was very shabby. Staff at reception were excellent and always helpful. Footscray is an interesting ethnic area. Very close to central Melb and 20 min walk to train station. Quite different eating...

"We stayed overnight to visit a concert in Northcote, and chose St. George’s motor inn as it was close to public transport/walking distance. Great that there was onsite parking. The room was clean and functioning with fridge but for additional amenities like microwave, plates snd cutlery. you needed to call the front desk. Bathroom looked like recently updated. Our bathroom door looked like recently repaired but awaiting paint. We had twin room in winter, the double bed had electric blanket...
