It was a little noisy given that the parking lot was right outside my window, the ice machine was one door away, and I could hear the people on the 2nd floor so I wouldn't recommend it. "The staff was amazing, but the property needs some major upgrades. My room looked like a lot of seedy things had taken place. There were holes in the walks, foot prints on doors, cigarette burns on the bedspread, and we actually witnessed a bit of "illegal trade" happening on the second floor. I'd suggest the owner take care of his kind and thorough staff and invest, AT LEAST, in a coat of paint in the rooms. "

"We recently stayed in the Hideaway, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our visit. The entire property is gorgeous. The staff is courteous, and the breakfast is amazing! The history of the home and allure is second to none. The grounds were beautifully manicured and you are close to several restaurants. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone. The only drawback is that the mansion resides very close to a busy intersection and with that comes some noise. "

"The Russell was one of the best stays I’ve had in a long time. This hotel was very thoughtful in every aspect. This is a hotel without front desk concierge but you could not even tell. The communicative signs around the building made navigating simple. Free local coffee in the lobby, Photo Booth to capture daily moments, and absolutely breathtaking stained glass.
