"We absolutely loved our stay here. The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious and the room was comfortable and inviting. Our kids especially enjoyed the lovely rooftop pool. The hotel is only a short 20min walk to Kota Tua and the historical sites. Highly recommend this hotel if you are vacationing in Jakarta."
"Pros:
In room dining excellent service & food, 4 pm (16:00).Great storage/closet area
Comfortable bed.Good air conditioning. Good water pressure in shower, good hot water.
Elevator(s) working. Big dining area. Shaming notice to reduce food waste. Huge pool. Comfortable loungers. Adequate gym equipment w/ acceptable change room. Mall is beside entrance, has supermarket & restaurants.
Cons:
Coffee machine at breakfast doesn’t dispense enough coffee even on Americano setting.
Often the brioches are cold. Bread station had a cockroach. Manager said they'd clean throughly, but didn't. No reaction of disgust/not surprised. Limited protein options; chicken over cooked. Staff that cleans away dishes, hide behind live cooking section & gossip/ on their cellphones. Dining room floor doesn’t look like it gets cleaned. Placemats are wiped, but not removed/changed. First 2 weeks no knife during breakfast, just fork & spoon.
When flushing the toilet it smells like sewage every time. I bought air fresheners at the supermarket because it smelled so bad. Coffee/ tea station in room only had tea.
Sometimes the towels and bedsheets had stains that looked permanent.
Pool says it's adult only, but children in it using inflatables, often unsupervised. No signs showing where pool towels are or where to drop them once done. Children peeing in pool. No pool area washrooms, wet and slippery going into the gym. Pool interior had tiles missing. Children playing on gym equipment."
