The balcony was nice except for the lights left on at night (I like darkness so I can relax and enjoy the ocean scene) The pool was nice except for the first night the sprinklers and filter was off- the next day it was back on.. "I enjoyed my stay at La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Galveston North at I-45. Larry, the front desk clerk was very welcoming, personable, and professional. He made my grandsons and I feel valued and safe. The environment was well maintained, updated and inviting. "The first thing that hits you when you walk in the hotel is the smell of mildew. The room we stayed in didn’t have an odor. The room itself was comfortable and the a/c was a 10/10, but the door to the balcony didn’t lock. The breakfast was good but it ended early."
