"I actually had 2 bookings at this hotel therefore I ended up staying in two different rooms. The check-in was fast, the front desk employees were polite, helpful and accommodating. Both rooms were spotless, and had hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. There is a free coffee machine, pitcher with a cold matcha drink, teabags, and amenities stand. A/C in both rooms was working just fine. There is an additional city tax of 400 Yen ($2.50 or so) collected at check-in and Expedia did mention it. I do not know why some people think that this is a rip-off. Location-wise, the hotel is 9 min walk from the nearest subway station and a large grocery store, there is also 7-11 across the street. I had a very pleasant stay."
