"The staff were so friendly and helpful, we loved the traditional breakfast, they were accommodating to my husband who can’t eat fish. They have a courtesy bus that takes you to Arashiyama which I didn’t know and so glad they suggested. The futons are hard but I got used to them. They also said their onsen is tattoo friendly. But most of the place is in such a spectacular forest it was so pretty in the late autumn I will definitely be going back. "

"Great location, just short walk from station, spacious room, free simple breakfast. Pillow is not for me 😅. Too tiny. But other then that all good. Will recommend this hotel. "

"Breakfast was great. We had ordered ala carte dinner and all items were very delicious. Staff was very respectful and friendly. The coffee shop had amazing tea and coffee. We didn’t venture out there for shops so can’t say anything about other nearby shopping stores. Rooms were spacious and clean. They had a common room to use with sofa etc. Loved the stay in this ryokan."
