"The front desk was scary. There were signs warning to not congregate at night. There was an old mattress laying next to the stairwell.
All the lights worked and the internet worked.
That said I went to the Walmart less than 1 mile away and felt safe. Overall the property felt reasonably safe

"Incredible City View!!!! , but probably one of the worst Hiltons I’ve ever stayed at. Terrible condition, Mold, tons of damaged furniture, terrible bathroom, not great beds, no coffee in the room, nor was there a decent coffee station in the lobby. I usually stay at Hiltons, but in this case I should have just stayed in the Motel 6 down the road. I obviously payed for the view because all I really got out of it."

"The hotel is presumably undergoing renovations and improvements. That's good news -- it needs it.
Our room was clean, but in disrepair, with broken drawers, unattached molding around the 'kitchenette', burners that did not work. It's in a dicey (yet nice, with the adjacent riverwalk) part of town, hence, locked outside doors that require a key card. Staff was friendly & knowledgable, with the security deposit ($100) returned in the advised 'few days'. All in all, OK."
