This place is great. It's a guesthouse so you don't really interact with any staff but the room was big and clean and had cooking facilities and a fridge. Bed was comfy!

We would definitely stay again here! It was an easy trip to Munich, the property was charming, and the restaurant was amazing. There wasn’t staff to clean the rooms every day, but when we requested additional coffee and towels, they brought them up to the room for us without a problem.

The bathroom smelt like wet dog the whole time. Bus stop is very convenient. We had dinner once at the resturant it was very yummy. Bed was comfortable. We came mid September it was not too hot but we are from florida so the weather was comfortable for us.

A very nice facility. The only issue is with the lack of screens in skylight windows, which were the only means of ventilating. Room was very warm as there is no air conditioning. Mosquitoes at night were not pleasant.

Clean & beautiful but be aware you are on your own

The guesthouse itself was really nice- very clean and modern and comfortable stay with a large bathroom and kitchenette. The restaurant it’s attached to was very good food and seemed to be a very nice place. But be aware if you are not driving- it is out there in a tiny town with not a lot of options. There is a bus stop directly outside that services to Freising train station (line 601-1.70 euro you can pay directly to the bus)- however it does not run on Sundays or late at night. There are taxis outside of Freising station if you arrive there too late, or Uber (it was hit or miss but we were able to secure a ride) there is no front desk and it doesn’t seem anyone works for the hotel, but just the restaurant personnel help you check in- I’m not sure how that would work when the restaurant is closed. I sent an email ahead of time which was not answered and calling no one answered either. Overall- it all worked out as we stayed there as a home base to Oktoberfest and it was nice coming back to the peace and quiet, but just be prepared to coordinate your arrival and transportation ahead of time, and if you plan on using the kitchen do your shopping in Munich or Freising.

Too hot

Apart from the fact that the soap dispenser in the sink was almost empty and there was no soap for the shower, the rooms were modern and quite nice. The night we stayed was a reasonably warm one and we were given an attic room on the third floor. The hotel appeared to have quite a few rooms free so we were disappointed when we were given this room on the third floor up many stairs. When we entered the room it was very, very hot. There wasn't any air conditioning or fan,just a couple of Velux skylights that partially opened. These were simply insufficient to cool the room down. We requested a pedestal fan but they didn't have one. We suffered a lot during the evening and sweated on our pillows. If you stay here we would strongly recommend that you not stay in the top floor rooms, especially during May-September when the days may be warm. For the hotel proprietor we strongly recommend that you at the very least provide pedestal fans so guests can have some relief from the heat.

So unglaublich schön. Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise und dementsprechend nur eine Nacht da. Aber ich würde immer wieder kommen😇

Personal haben wir während unseres Aufenthalts eigentlich nicht gesehen. Weder ein freundliches Willkommen noch ein herzliches „bis bald“. Keine Informationen, uns wurde lediglich der Zimmerschlüssel in die Hand gedrückt. Im Studio leider keine Rolläden oder Vorhänge und keine Fliegengitter an den Fenstern. Im Badezimmer standen gebrauchte Kosmetikartikel, aber leider nicht mal Handseife und nur auf Nachfrage weiteres Toilettenpapier. Die Einbauschränke der Küche waren leider auch nicht sauber. Die Austattung im Studio ist zweckmäßig. Die Speisekarte des Gasthofs ist durchaus ansprechend, wir haben jedoch ein kleines Frühstück oder einen gutbürgerlichen Snack vermisst. Es gibt ja nun leider keine Alternative im Dorf. Was sehr komisch anmutet, ist die strikte Trennung von Gasthof und Zimmern. Man muss ums Haus herum gehen und steht dann vor der weniger schönen Kehrseite des Gasthauses. Der Eingang und das Treppenhaus grenzen an die Küche und so riecht es quasi in allen Stockwerken nach Küche. Unser Fazit: Wir haben uns wenig willkommen gefühlt und werden auch nicht wiederkommen.
