"Perfect location"

"The lobby is beautiful, and the room was tastefully updated. Unfortunately, our room was on the fourth floor right next to noisy air conditioning exhausts, and I had to wear ear plugs to sleep. Some front desk people were really nice while others were not so welcoming. We didn’t get any explanation about WiFi, checkout time, etc. during the check-in. In the room, there are so much things for purchase - a fridge full of alcohols, 6 water bottles on tables, and hotel merchandise in and on the cabinet. We didn’t love that these things took lots of space in the room. When we were having drinks in the lobby, a suspicious person started talking to us. She was soon removed by the security, and the hotel staff explained that she stole a hotel key card to drink for free. The staff apologize for that and was very kind. But if you are staying in this area, know that the Hollywood Blvd is really sketchy. We were glad to have stayed in this iconic hotel, but we would probably stay outside of this area and take a ride to this area to enjoy theaters and stores on our next trip to Hollywood."

"I’ve been to other motel 6s, and by far this one needs a lot of attention. The staff did their job, but the property itself needs major remodeling. You can literally hear everything from people walking down the hallway, the people next-door, and the dumpster truck picking up the trash outside. It would have been nice if they were to add the prefilled shampoo, body wash and conditioner bottles inside the shower as well like other hotel/motels do. Not all was bad. The property is located in a very convenient location. It’s literally walking distance from Hollywood Boulevard. Excellent choices for entertainment and eateries. Very convenient to everything. No need to drive anywhere. If you’re definitely on a budget, it’s a good place to stay at. It just may be hard to sleep if your a light sleeper. "

"The property is well located and of high quality. But the rooms get a lot of use and abuse so the condition of the furniture shows a lot of wear and tear. Some of the chairs, for example, needs to be replaced. Staff was very helpful and courteous "

"this was a great, small hotel in a more "out of the way" section of Hollywood. It was an easy walk down to Hollywood Boulevard, and a quick drive to lots of other highlights in the area. I did not use the pool, but it was cute and apparently heated. The bar is a gem! Opens at 6pm and open until midnight with an intimate atmosphere. The attached diner (Clark Street Diner) is awesome as well. Very popular and happening."

"We loved this hotel! The rooms are HUGE and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Parking was in a small lot just behind the building and felt very safe and convenient (although it was best to back into the spots in order to get out easily and that is not my strong suit). There are so many things within walking distance and we felt relatively safe even walking late at night after a concert at the Palladium. Breakfast was great although a little light on protein options, and also there is no gym. We loved the Hollywood decor, the location, the room size, the cleanliness (daily room service!), the A/C, and would highly recommend to anyone. "
