Top Foresta Hotel Reviews
Tenaya at Yosemite
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed in a cottage as a family. It was a good size and close to the main building. It does advertise there is a small kitchen area, this is only a microwave and coffee machine. The restaurant was lovely but we didn’t want to eat there all the time and options were very limited. It was so convenient for Yosemite, just be aware there are charges for entering Yosemite of $35 per car and then a further $100 per adult for non Americans."
Rush Creek Lodge and Spa at Yosemite
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel has a really nice environment and is close to one of the entrances of Yosemite."
Yosemite View Lodge
8/10 Good
"I always stay here, but on this occasion I couldn’t help but notice how awful the registration staff were (some of them). Perhaps just young & inexperienced in what customer service actually means. Jimmy was terrific. Housekeeping & restaurant staff were terrific."
Mariposa Lodge
8/10 Good
"Our family stayed here as it was relatively close to Yosemite about 1 1/2 hour drive. A cheaper option if you can’t afford the hotels in Yosemite. Room and area was clean. Staff was helpful when we called for something. The pool though was under renovation when we were there in late July. If they offered breakfast would be better but there’s market close by if you need anything."
Indian Flat RV Park - Tent Cabins & Cottages

Narrow Gauge Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Conveniently located near Yosemite’s south entrance in Fish Camp, this rustic yet cozy hotel offers easy access to the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias and peaceful forest- or mountain-view rooms. My forest-view room made it easy to reconnect with nature as I listened to the nighttime sounds from its patio. The room and bathroom were spacious, although the shower stall was quite small and seemed to meet only the minimum size requirements. Compared with the crowded, pricey hotels inside the park in Yosemite Valley, this felt like a true hidden gem. After a tiring hike, a great meal at the on-site restaurant was especially welcome, and both the front desk and restaurant staff were very hospitable."
Evergreen Lodge Yosemite
8/10 Good
"The staff and property were great! So much fun stuff for the kids to do and it was beautiful! The tents were so clean and well kept! The only downside was the bathroom we shared. It got pretty messy and dirty with the amount of people using it. Maybe if it was cleaned more through the day! Also we wish there were more food choices but all in all a great vacation!"
