"There were a variety of pools and areas for all ages plus a gorgeous beach for walking. Room was small but nicely renovated with lots 8f water pressure fir the shower. Our only concern was having to line up for dinners because they don't have a reservation system. "

"The property is well maintained, and there is everything you need for comfort and relaxation but service lacks to some extent as they do the strictly minimum. Some of the valets are passive agressive and sometimes pool attendants ‘don’t see you’ for the longest time. The place is quiet from 10pm to 8am for those who want to recharge during their vacation. The food was really good. It’s on the beach so very convenient. I didn't like having people offering horse rides walking up and down the beach all day and not picking up after their animals. I also think such activities should be offered only in the morning when the temperature is mild. Another element I didn’t appreciate is that they ask if you’re celebrating a birthday or event at check-in and then completely ignore it. I was there for my birthday, mentioned it at check-in, to my concierge, at the restaurants the day of and did not receive a single gesture. Not even a slice of cake, message, decor or delivery to my room. That was unimpressive for 5-star resort."

"Very clean, excellent staff, food is fantastic. Accessible pool. Very walkable beach and swimable ocean. If you want a chair beside the pool you will have to get up early to go reserve one. Staying at this resort also gives you all of the amenities of its sister resort right next door. "

"To start with, when booking this stay we were not aware that this room was actually located at Villa La Estancia. Why was this called Beachside Escape? The room was nice but the balcony was shared with the larger unit next door. We were not aware of this and felt awkward using this space. We also felt that it could be a security risk. We noticed a lot of the balconies had partitions up for these reasons. We had a mini fridge, coffee maker but could not plug in the coffee maker as the cord was too short and the plug was covered by the wall mirror. The first day we made coffee with it sitting on the floor until the hotel staff came and moved the fridge over to another outlet. The pillows in our opinion were terrible with some kind of loose filling and smelled very musty. We booked the room for 3 adults and were given two cups, and glasses. It took multiple calls over two days to get extra glasses and cups. We ate at the grill by the pool the first night. The food was average, cocktails tasted like there was no alcohol and could not get coffee. The meal prices were very expensive. The staff overall very always friendly and keen to help."
