"To start with, when booking this stay we were not aware that this room was actually located at Villa La Estancia. Why was this called Beachside Escape? The room was nice but the balcony was shared with the larger unit next door. We were not aware of this and felt awkward using this space. We also felt that it could be a security risk. "We were very pleased with this hotel. Breakfast was excellent, rooftop pool was great with no trouble getting chairs, the room was spacious and had an amazing beach view directly facing the sunset each night, and the location was perfect. Away from the craziness but only 5-10 min walk to the Malecon, great restaurants in the area, convenience stores, restaurants, and a grocery store all within a couple blocks, and a short Uber ride to anything else in PV (including a $10 ride from the airport)....
