"Let me start by saying the staff are amazing and very friendly. The pool was simple but lovely, with very nice lounge chairs. Easy access to a beautiful beach, mini golf right next door, short walk to great restaurants. The breakfast was better than expected, scones, bagels, muffins, arriving warm. Parking was easy and free. The rooms are dated and very small, but they were clean. The air conditioning worked great the room was very comfortable, temperature-wise. "

"This was our second time staying at this hotel. Our first stay (11/2025) was absolutely amazing so we were excited to come back. Unfortunately, it was not the same experience. When we arrived the front desk over night staff was rude and unhelpful. When we asked for a late check out (due to arriving at 1:30 am) she stated it would be an extra $25 upcharge, although on the website it stated there is a $0 upcharge for late check out. Our room smelled HEAVY of cat urine/cat liter, our hotel phones...

"Best Western Seaside was a great overnight stay. The young lady at the front desk was friendly and attentive. The beach is right across the street. We did not use the breakfast buffet or the pool/hot tub. I would recommend for a short stay in St. Augustine Beach. Check out Cafe Eleven down the road. Great food, service and music events."

"The only problem was the restaurant was only open for breakfast. It would be nice to have somewhere for lunch and dinner. It rained a lot the week we were there"

"Room was cleanish. You could see where the soap areas were not clean. Could still see the buildup where the last ones were placed. No chain on the front door. No beach view. It’s across the street, was told hotel was on the beach. Toilet issues, it wouldn’t refill tank after flush, for several minutes to an hour. Mold rust build up against the outer wall of the shower. Parking was great.staff were fine, no issues. I would not come back to this one. "

"Our room stayed hot and muggy though the outside temperature didn’t get above 73 degrees. The staff was very nice but the clientele was rowdy at night. We could smell smoke wafting into our room and people running and yelling the last night we were there. Our room was very clean, but the bed wasn’t very comfortable and there is no fan in the bathroom. The hotel just needs updating. The location is really great. We didn’t try the breakfast "

"We checked in at dusk and were greeted once we ring the outside bell because there wasn’t an attendant visible to us but they had camera to see outside. We didn’t wait long at all. The attendant gave me a hard time at checkout even though I had reservations through Expedia and my ID. The card I was using didn’t have my name printed on it"

They had a nice Social Hour that had some tasty snacks with wine, beer, soft drinks and I’m sure tea/coffee if requested. The room was really nice, clean and we had a fabulous shower.
