"Fawlty towers but beds were comfortable and great selection at breakfast. 2nd Sunday of the month we caught live music sessions in the garden , which was lovely. I liked the quirkiness."

"I stayed on my own there for 2 nights for a golf tournament I was playing in locally. The room was comfortable and clean with an en suite toilet, wash basin and shower. It was very warm in the room but a fan was provided which helped. There was a full sized fridge with small freezer section, a microwave, tea and coffee making facilities and supplies of both. There were also some plates, bowls and cutlery. I stayed in the room both evenings but looked on Google maps to find somewhere to buy food....

"Had to ask for clean towels and coffee sachets. Also had to ask for room to be cleaned and bedding changed after 3 days. So a 7 day stay only changed once. Lights not working. Shower connected to taps so unable to control water temperature. Shaving light above sink not working. Towel rail in bathroom got dangerously hot and was held together with insulating tape. A small step down to the room had no hazard warning tape or aluminaton, tripped over going out and fell down going in."
