"We had a 2-bedroom 2 bath apartment that was fully furnished and had everything that you would need and may not need. The place was very clean and the building was quiet. They did provide earplugs for the night because the sounds of the city did come through on occasion. The staff was very personable as well. Teh beds were very comfortable. Will consider a Mint House at other locations in the future."

"This is a gorgeous hotel converted from the famous Riggs National Bank of Washington DC. It is elegant, comfortable and accomodating. The food at Cafe Rigg (we had breakfast) was superb. The hotel is close to Metro (Gallery Place), museums and theatres as well aas several really nice restaurants. We will stay here whenever we come to downtown DC."

"The hotel itself was clean and nice, so no issues with the room. The problem was the front desk experience. We had a night out in DC and chose not to drink and drive, so we booked and paid for a room ahead of time. When I (female) went to check in, I was told I couldn’t because of the time—even though the room was already paid for. Then my boyfriend went in right after me and had no issue getting the keys. The front desk worker, who appeared to be a gay male, was noticeably rude and dismissive...

"I have been disappointed with my past several hotel stays at various other "luxury" properties (think Ritz Carlton, Bellagio, Aria). The properties/rooms werent properly upkept, and I was left feeling uncomfortable with the level of cleanliness. From the moment I walked into this property, I was impressed. Everything was above par - the scent, decor, cleanliness, staff. Trey at the front desk provided exemplary service. So much so that my 17 y.o even commented. I consider myself a harsh...
