"The views around the property were grand. It is an amazing property nestled at the base of some mountains. The best thing is the view of the mountain in the morning. Only two concerns; we came very late after hours and it was hard to get the access code by messaging and calling; and there was a used makeup sponge left in the bathroom. "

"Walk inside to get landline, door was unlocked. IF you can check in, all is well. Attempted to stay at starlight camping pods owned by same property 2 days later and that did not go well. Location is lovely, close to Seljavallalaug swimming

. Cute brindled cows next door. However, little to no cell phone service in this area. On 17th landline worked; successfully got code for rooms at guesthouse. By message, codes were not sent til the 18th aka the day of check-out, so that didn’t help. ...

"Their website needs to be updated because there is no “North Star Guesthouse” it’s known by a different name. So finding the place was but of a challenge but stay was very pleasant "
